The Helfrich Firefish is certainly the most exquisite one among the Dartfish clan. Weirdly it is also de smallest of the family. Its body is all purple less the lateral to the anal fins that are white; it also has a spectacular yellowish head cover by an electric purple middle-line that crosses the head. In the wild occurs at a depth range between 25 '' 90 m, Occurs in relatively deep water. Found over small patches of sand, rubble, or hard open bottoms of steep seaward reefs. Rarely found in less than 40 m and frequently occurs in pairs. This species usually acclimates quickly to aquarium life, plenty of hiding places and a varied diet should be provided. In captivity Gobies & Dartfishes are Reef safe. It is important and highly recommended to say that multiple specimens should only be added at the same time. The Acclimation time should be between half to one and a half hour.
